A great looking hose reel,( recieved 2 of the 7500 model today read the instructions and installed same only to see water spraying out at the brass coupling on one...the other hose reel male end just came right off the hose.....I have not seen such a cheap hose brass end in a very long time..I will go to the local home depot to get a first class brass male end and this should cure the problem,its less pain then sending back the 2 reels.......very disapointed in the hose quality...Richard E Cervi CEO/ Emergency Response Systems
Customer Review: don't waste time or money
Well, at first look this think is awesome. The retractor worked perfect. But then we hooked up the water and it started spewing water like the titanic. At first look it appears the very inexpensive couplings were the problem. The threads are not aligned properly. Then it just blows off and starts shooting water everywhere. And of course the company has no customer service phone number only an email to the sales dept.

Customer Review: Easily broken
I've got 2 of those timers. One works well, doing what it's supposed to do (note that it doesn't turn on automatically, you have to do it yourself). Another one is already broken after using it not more then 10 times.
Customer Review: Hose faucet timer
This is great and we love these timers. However you have to be aware of a manufacturing defeciency in the turn knob. These knobs break easily off the stem over a little time, so I remove them and fill in the empty space around the stem slot(on the underside of the knob) with epoxy putty. Orbit should really do a better job on these weak knobs.

I hooked this hose to plastic threads on a hose reel. No leaks. However, the hose kinked worse than any hose I've ever used while I was putting it on the hose reel.

The important thing is that the female end has a metal connector. If the female threads are plastic, the hose never makes a good connection.

Customer Review: The new way for quick connects
This product takes some getting used to if you've been a consumer for years of the ubiquitous "quick connects". However, once you get the hang of how these EZ slides connect, they seem to be just as effective, if not more so, than the others. Since they are so new, it is unclear as to how well the gaskets will wear. It appears they are not replaceable like the "quick connect" ones, so if they don't wear well, the cost to buy the whole thing again may be a factor. For now, though, I'm a satisfied customer and will likely buy more for my gardening hoses.

I concur with another reviewer: This is the BEST ever. The mist, to use but one example, is actually a mist--perfect for my tiny rootings and seeds. Even though it's plastic, it feels substantial in the hand. At this price, too, how can I go wrong even if it only lasts a few seasons?
Customer Review: Best Hose Sprayer I have ever used
I got this in conjunction with a new platinum hose that is silver on amazon. Make sure you check that out also because it's amazing. I hooked this up with my new hose, and I found not one little speck of water running from it when it was attached. I was so shocked because I have never used a hose sprayer where it didn't leak at least a little. After my jaw dropped 10 inches I used this to water the ant seeds I just surrounded the house with. I used the shower setting and it is awesome for watering plants and the ground. I've tried all the other settings and they were very cool, too. Definately get this for the price it is listed at!

Customer Review: It's ok, but not perfect.
Well this is an ok device, but the spike isn't long enough to be really useful. It needs to be about 6" or 8" longer to really hold its footing in most applications. I had to go to the hardware store and buy a 24" long snug-fitting piece of pipe that I drove into the ground and then put this inside it to keep it from pulling out of the ground. Once I did that, it worked well, but it would have been great if it were designed better from the beginning.
